Welcome to LD&J Associates, Inc.

Lisa J. Slade is a senior psychoanalyst with over 30 years of experience.

At LD&J Associates you will find an attuned therapist who is ready to listen and guide you through the challenges you face.

Our vision of treatment gives centrality to the organization of experience and the contexts in which the individual’s experience occurs. Following from this, we give special emphasis to the intersubjective dimension of the relational context formed by the bond established between the therapist and patient.

We hold an optimistic view of human nature and believe that experiences within the context of a non-authoritative therapeutic relationship offers the best opportunity for people to enhance their experience of themselves and others. In other words, we believe that the therapist and the patient have a significant affect on each other. Essentially, both the therapist and patient are willing and open participants in an ongoing process
